A French Moment

Just appreciate this scene for a moment.

Karl is in the Poitou-Charentes sunshine watering the vibrant green basil plant with a galvanized metal watering can painted white and trimmed in blue.  There are red geraniums, and a climbing vine intertwined with the arbour at the door entrance.  Geraniums are found on windowsills of most French homes.  Did you know that it detracts the bugs from coming through the open windows?  Then there are the lush bushes of lavender moving gently in the breeze, with butterflies fluttering and bees buzzing.  And finally, the typical stone walkway.

To me, this is just a quick snapshot of a French moment in the "France Profonde", the France outside of Paris, deep in the French countryside.
