Lemon Squeezer

"Only in France," you say!

Amazon.fr is not the same as Amazon.ca

Years ago, I saw this little lemon squeezer in a chic restaurant in France, and I really thought it was novel and elegant.  I've been looking for it ever since.

Today, it arrived in the mail!

Karl picked up the padded envelope that only took a couple of days to get here.

Actually, there were six of these little "birds" packed in the envelope.

This is it!  Right now it's closed.

This is what it looks like when it's open, ready to receive the lemon slice.

"Six little dickie birds, sitting on a mat..."

Definitely time for some Earl Grey tea!

You cut a slice of lemon, then cut that slice in half.

You add the half slice of lemon into the little lemon squeezer.

Then you squeeze the lemon into your tea.  Et voilà!

Just think how elegant this will be when my Tea Ladies get together and I can put a little squeezer next to each place setting.  Although it's made of plastic, it looks like glass.

It's also perfect for squeezing lemon onto fish and seafood.  No pits, no wet fingers!  Good purchase, and something not available in Canada.
